Research Note The following formulas present the derivation of significance tests for the Standardized Morbidity Ratio (SMR), which was used to evaluate the statistical significance of the Standardized Morbidity Ratio (means standardized prevalence ratio) in my epidemiological studies. These formulas are presented here as a research note for reference.
